Academic Leadership Retreats (ALRs)
MWBLSA's ALRs serves to help students in law school and aid their transition into an ever-changing legal career. Attendees can network with other law students and legal practitioners from the Midwest and receive helpful information, tools, and resources. The guidance received at ALR will help hone students' skills early in the school year and allow them to excel academically and develop professionally. |

Judicial Reception This is a first-of-its-kind Judicial Reception to be held in Chicago, IL, to wrap up our inaugural week-long event Federal Judiciary Week. We expect more than 100 law students, legal professionals, judges, and key stakeholders from the legal community throughout the Chicago and Chicago-Metropolitan regions to be in attendance. |

Moot Court & Mock Trial Competitions MWBLSA chapters participate in prestigious legal competitions organized by NBLSA, including the Thurgood Marshall Moot Court and Constance Baker Motley Mock Trial. These events provide opportunities for students to hone advocacy skills in simulated court environments. |
