Pre-Law Resource Center

The MWBLSA Pre-Law Resource Center is committed to equipping aspiring Black law students with the tools they need to succeed, from exploration to enrollment. Our curated resources are designed to make your law school journey more accessible, informed, and strategic.

ABA 509 Reports
Make sure you also look at ABA 509 reports, which schools are required to disclose. They explain information like admissions percentages, average financial aid awards, and much more.

Addendums
A law school addendum offers law school applicants the opportunity to clarify anything in their academic or legal background that could be seen as a red flag by admissions.  This means that you have the space to tell your story, rather than leave it open to misinterpretation. Proactively addressing any potential issues may show that you can hold yourself accountable and learn from past mistakes or obstacles.
